Just a reminder that Sunday 29th is a no alcohol day so bars etc. will be closed.
It is a strange one as it is not a public or government holiday but it is the end of Buddhist lent.
Even Monday has not been a declared a holiday for government workers so they are probably not happy..

No Alcohol Day Sunday 29th Oct.

Good reminder to give your local mom & pop shop your Sunday business. Religious events like start/end of Buddhist Lent are always (supposed to be) piss-free.

I really do worry about all those , who from alcohol abuse have as yet not figured out how to stock up on beer etc, when Dry Days are announced. Must be due to the befuddled brain coping with the alcohol.
Maybe a centre needs to set up to assist those alcoholics to ease the pain of withdrawal. They could all sit in a circle and sing songs to alleviate the pain. holding hands and smelling roses as they did in the 60's

not to worry, most Mom and Pop's don't pay any attention to "no alcohol days" nor the time restrictions on sale.. A Mom and Pop's near me is on a scanned system that evidently is inspectable so if you buy alcohol outside of the allowed times or on a non-alcohol day just do a cash ring up rather than a scan...
