Long form discussion

Post by Potamoi » January 15, 2024, 9:06 pm

SUB-TOPIC: Discussion with Dr. Debra Soh on The Joe Rogan Experience

This main topic is more for the things one may find interesting in the long form podcasts or interviews. This is for the reader/listener/viewer that wants to hear what the interviewer and guest actually have to say rather than just a sound bite curated for you to use as a weapon or reason to love/hate someone or something. It is kind of for the topics that don't quite fit elsewhere but also fit elsewhere but are too long for the average UM'er to follow through and listener/read/watch the whole thing.

Today I'd like to share a discussion with Dr. Debra Soh on Joe Rogan's Spotify podcast. It's not just about her work on gender identity.

This one is only two hours for those fellas that say they don't have time for a 3 hour interview. Slap on the headphones and take a walk is what I say. Listen to a podcast that is from a point of view you don't necessarily agree with but want to ACTUALLY hear both sides of an issue. :-) In fact, they also discuss this very concern of mine about half way through.

SUB-TOPIC: Brigham Buhler, Ways-To-Well

Fascinating discussion with the founder. Pretty scathing comments about Big Pharma and the medical insurance industry. Good listen for my walk today. The part discussing 'out of network' billing being used as a weapon given to the DOJ to take down labs, clinics or even individual MD's that are not a part of the big medical industrial complex is particularly jarring.

This episode isn't just about the corruption in government and the profit driven systems vs the patient outcome goal. Closed system AI and the stem cell discussion is also very interesting.
