Ventilators may be killing COVID-19 patients. The treatment is all wrong. Oxygen deprivation is the problem, not respiratory failure. Stunning information from NYC doctor treating the worst cases...

It's very interesting, but was filmed 2 weeks ago.
Surely, we would have heard more about it by now if it is really important?

Having worked on the intel and psyops side of the military for 26 years, it's frightening to me that some people who consider themselves patriotic Americans put their faith in the news eminating from Russia. Often, they will belittle reports coming from respected economic, medical, science professionals and instead rely on information that, with just a minute of google searching, can easily be debunked.

Drank the Koolaid, did you.
Find it very strange someone calling themselves American, could trust the main street media, after they had lied to you for so many years, must be going on 75 years, now.

Now I understand. Thanks

Shame on you parrot. From now on, you must rely on RT and infowars, all the rest is fake news. Plus of course the expert advice from RL who is proudly 'un-widely' informed.
Best being part of this forum by placing the intellectual challenged on foes list. A lot less post to read and a great time saver.

The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

Great news for Udon!

https://www.nationthailand.com/news/303 ... l_referral
Yes good news Vince.
My only thought is why do the official figures state the last Coronavirus case was reported on the 27th March which was the 8th case.
The Governor now states the 8th case was 3 April.
I have been checking the figures daily and there was never a case reported on 3rd April.
Makes you wonder but it is good news never the less.

How can it be missed.
The official figures state the 8th case was on the 27th March.
They appeared as 8 cases on 27th March. Case Number 1060.

Work it out.

It is a concern that an April 3rd new case has been mentioned when as Pal52 says its been on the WOPH website as the 8th case as 27th March / case number 1060 for quite a while .

just found out that our friends in Turkey have helped the UK by supplying a planeload of supplies to ease the increasing pressure on our NHS

Just like the ventilators sent by US & Germany the UK govt & their mainstream press buddies seem unable/unwilling to make these acts of kindness known during the hour long self back patting sessions they hold every day. Not surprising really as Petty Patel wouldnt even apologise for their PPE lies and failures

Either way, it's too soon IMHO. Songkran is barely over and DM hasn't found a willing volunteer to watch the junction while he buggers off to Buriram.

Something that might have escaped certain people’s notice is that each hospital/group of hospitals has a legion of very expensive consultants who are paid an exorbitant amount of money to ensure the said hospital/group of hospitals has enough PPE and equipment to meet requirements seen and unseen, so all of a sudden they can wash their hands and all of the blame goes on central government?

Idiocy at it’s finest.

The coronavirus can survive long exposures to high temperatures, a new peer-reviewed study published on Biorxiv has shown.

Researchers had to bring the temperature to almost boiling point to kill the virus completely.

The finding could have implications for the safety of lab technicians working with the virus.

Most labs use a 60C, hour-long process to deactivate the virus before further processing. But Professor Remi Charrel and colleagues at Aix-Marsellie University in France found that after heating the virus to 60C for an hour it was still able to replicate.

Only heating the virus to 92C for 15 minutes was able to totally kill it.

From the Nation this morning :
Udon Thani Governor Nirat Pongsithithaworn announced on Tuesday (April 14) that lockdown measures and other restrictions on daily life may be eased on Friday (April 17) if the province reaches the milestone of 14 consecutive days with no new infections.

Nirat said he will consult with local medical staff before deciding whether to relax some rules governing people and trade.
The northeastern province will lift more restrictions if it reaches 21 days without any confirmed new cases.
Earlier the province enjoyed a run of eight consecutive days without fresh infections, before a case of Covid-29 emerged on April 3.
That brought the total confirmed cases in Udon Thani to eight. Six have recovered and returned home while two remain in hospital.
