The doughboy wannabe cop likes being the center of attention. He has real mental problems; after his 15 minutes of fame in the Travon Martin case he now can't stand being out of the spotlight. So he creates a situation where he knows the media will cover and he's back on TV. Any normal person after the TM trial would have kept an extremely low profile; but the doughboy craves the attention.
