This is surprising news if true. One would think the Wall Street Journal would be advocating for more press freedom in Hong Kong. Say it ain't so, Joe.

Yes I did, thanks. It's the same political entity they are up against then as they are now, so the more recent action could be construed as appeasement. A distancing of themselves from critics to maintain press accreditation in the mainland.
