The Scots did well and should have beaten Oz. If Sole had held the catch when David tried to get out 3 or 4 balls from the end, they would have knocked the best team in the tournament out 😀

The least you could have acknowledged your Scotland team had a good crack in this tournament.
They played what was dished up to them quite well.
I say well done Scotland for a fine tournament. But the powerful batting available to Australia in the first 7 batsmen is a huge hurdle to overcome for any team.
I did. I called them world class.

Hold on...you didn't think I was talking about the Aussies did you?

If only it hadn't rained against the Englanders...

Gotta feel sorry for Oz this morning :D . If things go to form England will be in the semis and the Aussies will be out.

Afghanistan were brilliant this morning and, not even their nemesis, Maxwell, could stop them.

On the other hand, I really don't like Harry Brook saying that he wants to give USA a "good battering". A victory will almost certainly put us through so theres no need to wind up the opposition.

Good to see the poms have a big win against tournament heavyweights USA and progress to the semis.
Another hat trick in the tournament.

But there are a number of scenarios they may play out in the Aussie group.
Losing to Afghanistan was a definite bump in the road we didn't want.
We need Bangladesh to defeat the Afghans to give us a chance. Big game tonight against India. I'll call a win on that.

Go hard or go home is always the call, unfortunately we may be going home.

Classic game last night sees Oz eliminated and Afghanistan in the semis.

Best moment for me was Rashid Khan throwing his bat at his team mate when he turned down a 2nd run. That guy is a real winner and is a massive driving force in their success.

India meet England in the semis with Afghanistan playing South Africa in the other. If England dont do it, I'd love the Afghans to triumph.
