Decided to make scones today, went posh on a batch made with apricots ,plus the cheap seats sultanas. Tip top suggestion ..use orange marmalade with the apricot ones

PF Im up for another batch of super fruity SCONES .. last lot were the muts nuts ""loadsa fruit"" ... do you think Viva brand dried mango what can buy in bags at 7-11 would be ok to add along with the usual raisins etc .. would it effect the cooking as its already dried in a bag just needs chopping up into smaller bits.

Got a couple of packs left. Yes any dried fruit works in scones , peaches, apricots, mango, cherries.

Marvelous super fruit SCONES picked up today .. possibly the biggest n best batch yet Dean .. i was good n only had two today... loved the extra added lemon or orange fruity bits.

Dried mango would defo work as well for future reference

Similar to a SCONE then ?? .. maybe a SCONE with xmas mincemeat could work ?? chuck in a splosh of brandy or PORT and some apricot and twood be a winner.

Remember a Scone is for life not just for Christmas.
