Made a quick run to restock on Johnsonville Hot Italian sausages and had the pleasure of meeting Ms Tatar. She took me on a guided tour as EVERYTHING has been moved around. I think it's a calculated plan by all the supermarkets to keep us old folk confused... and it's working!

Anyway, Ms Tatar is very charming, took my business card, and promised to call me when the Quaker Grits are back in stock.

Vlasic pickles, 46oz size, price UP from 189 to 225 baht.

One pleasant surprise though:
saltine.jpg
49 baht each. =D> Ten individual packs. Perfect for serving with chili.
Every day I wake up is a good day.

Great that you found the saltines you were looking for. \:D/ If and when the Quaker Grits arrive can you please post that info. I've been buying the Alber's quick grits there but would like to stock up on Quaker regular grits if possible.

The so called VIP parking is a total joke!!! always full and the shop always nearly empty, very easy to cure, if you want to park in VIP area you must show villa loyalty card, free from store, easy to control as security already employed in car park, but this is thailand and no one gives a toss about rules. Also no sign on my last visit of Mss Tartar??? what has happened to the excellent cheese counter?

I wonder how long the meat/deli counter will last. Thais are generally reluctant to eat outside the box, so I'm wondering who is buying all the meat. Most often the people I see in the store are buying snacks and drinks. The other day I was lucky and snagged one of the VM VIP spaces. I went to VM but I also had a few other stops to make at LM/dot.com.

Gave up showing my VM loyalty card at the front parking area, they just waved me each time to the mutistorey carpark, now used to parking there, easy in/out with the escalators inside
Bread section at front is just as minimal as can be,they have deal with bei otto bread for the german bread but am sure Jutta german bread oop here will pass in supplying once payment terms are known 8)
No sign of tartar sauce on my visit yet again, she must be a late riser, know not to go there fridays as her day orf, have 20 questions to put to her  :D 8)

Dont know why our two farang stores, VM and Tops are so bad compared to other cities. Went to VM in BKK and the new Tops in Sakorn Nakhon both had more stock and choice than ours and more cheap offers in stock.

Easy just consider how many customers shop in their markets in BKK. I've been to several different Villa Markets in BKK and another I believe in Hua Hin and they are always filled with both Thai and farang customers.

Never been to our franchise VM over the weekend, maybe packed out with Laoites with plenty of cash, during the week have tried different days all very quiet. 8) Got used to their main office sukhumvit 33.bursting with stock in an old building, new freezers installed, loads of helpful staff 8)
Does not help when no coordination on the VM website with their hot deals since no change in updating deals, still showing for April FFS

FYI the Villa Market here in UT is not a franchise operation. It's owned by the same family which owns all the other Villa Markets here in Thailand.

Someone is shopping there. Many items don't last long when they come in. Oscar Mayer Hickory Smoke Bacon from the States at over 300baht a LB don't last long. Hot Italian Sausage, Vaslic Pickles another 2 items that go quickly. Always a good supply of mini mince meat pies at 35 baht each. Cheese's see to quickly also. Like others, when I go doesn't seem to be many shoppers, I always go just after they open maybe they get a lot of evening shoppers.
