My wife and I live upcountry in Loei province. I also have a condo in Jomtien where we are now staying on a getaway break. My condo is 60 square meters and I would not even consider living in a much smaller unit. That 26 square meter unit is smaller than many hotel rooms.

I would advise anyone to buy a unit of at least 45 square meters and bigger if possible. I would find it difficult stay in any unit without a separate bedroom especially if you have a Thai wife. My wife watches Thai TV in the living room and I have my English TV in the bedroom.

Hi Darrenm

I have bought a condo in Udon @ More condo, the club house is progressing good as pool rain has slowed down main building 1 of 3 piles and foundations are in. I have also just bought a new house and may be selling the condo which is due to be finished may next year and then 2 months for fitting out. It is a 60 sqm on high level classed as penthouse. You can look on facebook (More condominium udon thani). Let me know if you would be interested in taking over payments.

24m2 is fine for me, it has a separate bedroom, and this unit will be used when im in Udon or ill rent it out.

Advantages over your 60m2 will be less to pay for paint when it needs repainted did you ever think of that?

I agree with glalt, I could never live in a shoe box either, if you have to worry about paint, can you really afford to live here?

No and its a very good point, will they ever get complete?

I took the risk, 105,000 over 16 month payments, yes no one wants to loose that but its the risk I took as balance is paid on completion, if it had been the norm 40-50% pay up deals off plan like pattaya I would never of bought

Sound possible. I googled the club house but can not get anything up about this condo. Do you have a link that can shed some light on the development?

We will need at least that amount of space as we have two kids. :-)

Yes those "hello Kitty Plates" look so good on my little white car haha

Actually wallpaper is making a return, my house in sakon I have wall papered it, the small shop that does curtains and wall paper in sakon made one hell of a good job doing the whole house out, very modern and finishes it off very nice.

My mums place back home she sent photos of her new living room wall papered now vision this Huge Sun flower heads all over the wall!!!!

each to their own I guess!!
