Re: K*ng Power owner involved in helicopter crash.
Sources close to the family say he WAS on board. I presume they had to let next of kin know before announcing details, but considering they showed video footage of the passengers walking to the centre circle and only one (security man?) walking back after take off, it would have been pretty easy to identify those on board
RIP to those who have lost their lives

Re: K*ng Power owner involved in helicopter crash.
The BBC has just reported that the Helicopter was in trouble very early on as it was seen to vear away fronm the crowd still milling round the Stadium and its likely the pilot tried to avoid them.
Re: K*ng Power owner involved in helicopter crash.
similar death to the chelsea vice chairman in october 96
Harding died at the age of 42 in a helicopter accident in October 1996, while flying back from a Chelsea match at Bolton Wanderers, along with the pilot and three passengers, including journalist John Bauldie and Raymond Deane. The crash of the Eurocopter AS355 Écureuil 2 aircraft took place at night and in poor weather, near Middlewich, Cheshire. An investigation by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch found that the pilot did not have the experience or qualifications necessary to safely pilot by instruments in such conditions.[5]

Leicester owner helicopter crash: Investigators claim aircraft ‘did not respond to pilot commands’
The Independent Jack de Menezes,The Independent 22 ore fa
Investigators are looking specifically at the tail rotor control system of the helicopter that crashed and killed Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha last month.
UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) claim that the aircraft did not respond to pilot commands in a preliminary report, and started to turn right “contrary to the pilot’s left pedal command”.
The accident on 27 October, which also claimed the lives of four others onboard, continues to be investigated after Mr Srivaddhanaprabha’s private helicopter crashed outside an individual Power Stadium roughly 40 seconds after takeoff.
Investigators are yet to determine why the pilot lost control with the AAIB stating that the “cause of the apparent loss of yaw control has yet to be determined”, but added that “investigation of the tail rotor system is being carried out as a priority”.
Footage of the incident appears to show that sections of the tail rotor may have fallen off in mid-air.
The aircraft reached an altitude of approximately 430ft before plummeting to the ground in a car park next to the Stadium and was “rapidly engulfed in an intense post-impact fire”, the AAIB said.
The Leicester City owner, employees Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner, Izabela Roza Lechowicz – who was also a professional pilot – were all killed in the accident.

Re: K*ng Power owner involved in helicopter crash.
we have had a number of chopper crashes in NZ over the years, two recently, both from the same family.. Rotor blades are many a fault, but in the latest crash, it is believed a pair of overall's was sucked out of the chopper door, and wrapped around the tail rotor, causing it to spin out of control and crash, killing all on board

IMHO that'll do it every time.maaka wrote: ↑November 16, 2018, 6:14 amwe have had a number of chopper crashes in NZ over the years, two recently, both from the same family.. Pilot could do 'very little' to stop Leicester City helicopter crash
The pilot of the helicopter that crashed outside Leicester City's stadium, killing five people including its chairman, said "I've no idea what's going on" as it spun out of control.
Eric Swaffer, 53, made the comment before the helicopter hit the ground outside the King Power Stadium on 27 October 2018.
The final report into the crash now been published.
It concluded the pilot could do "very little" to save those on board.
The crash claimed the lives of Leicester City chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, two members of his staff - Nusara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare - and pilots and partners Mr Swaffer and Izabela Roza Lechowicz.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB)'s final report said a tail rotor bearing seized, which in turn caused the crash.
The AAIB said the crash was "inevitable" after a sequence of mechanical failures.
