Following information is required by foreign nationals:

Passengers needs to have health insurance (in amount of US$ 100,000) that should cover all expenditures of medical treatment while travelling abroad.

Passengers are encouraged to self isolation. This means that you are allowed to go out when necessary but avoid situations/ places with crowds.

this has been clarified to state that you need a negative test certificate, and that it will be enforced from tomorrow.

The effect for most passengers is a de facto ban as there are very few countries that will test someone who has no symptoms.

Easily overcome if you are American ......... sign a contract with an NBA team as they will be falling over themselves to give you a test

A point I would like to make as the so-called entertainment centres are closing especially in BKK< the workers there are obviously going to return as HOME is considered a safe and cheap haven . Does it then mean that there may well be more Positive tests showing up as they inadvertently bring the VIRUS back with them. With BKK having a higher incidence rate of Virus positives, than anywhere else in Thailand .

very small trail in France was full of hope, the patient said in 2 days he had substantially recovered, so I hope it pans out.

This Pandemic is so severe I am left with the feeling that we could give it a go, bugger an 18 moth clinical trial. It is a known medicine so it has already been trialed. If the authorities want to stick by the book, they should justify that decision and not simply state SOP.

Doctors now saying that if you do not show any of the basic covid 19 symptoms you should be aware that if you lose you sense of taste or smell this is a sign you may still have the virus.

On the bright side at least it means us old "farts" have a cheap test kit available

Your understanding of this is much like Trump's understanding. The effectiveness of this drug, in regards to COVID-19, is nothing more than anecdotal. How can it be concluded, at this point, that these people who improved wouldn't have improved anyway? We simply don't know, yet.

Chloroquine is known for over 50 years and sold under different brand names so are the side effects.
