No , my concern is if nothing is done , then what , Virus part three the sequel .
Meaner and nastier than covid 19 , as covid 19 is over and above what Sars was .
Imagine that for a minute , Because it happening again is odds on , if nothing is done to get the Chinese to basically clean up their act .
Can western government's that have been historically desperate and eager to supply China's insatiable demands for raw materials and thus suck on that great socialist teat ever be trusted to hold the Chinese's feet to the fire on this? I mean can we trust our own governments to change their ways any more than we can trust China to eradicate their wet-market economy?

Have heard brief mention but can’t quite put my finger on any confirmation of the following query.
Do people become immune after contracting the virus?

Have read the virus is mutating so probably get a different strain
depends on ones immune system to the mutated virus
just like colds which are in the same corona family

Indonesia has closed its borders and declared a state of emergency after experts warned at least 140,000 people would be dead by the end of the month unless authorities took urgent action to contain the coronavirus.

Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.
There have only been reports of 2 strains of the virus both were evident in the original outbreak in China.
If you can give a source for your claim I would be interested to see it.
The information that I’ve seen is that the virus is not mutating, this is similar to MERS and SARS This is unlike influenza which is also a coronavirus. There are many different viruses that cause colds some of them, but not all, are coronaviruses.

There is insufficient information available to give a definitive answer, but the best informed guess at the moment is, yes you are immune. Or at the very least that a subsequent infection, if indeed possible, is much less dangerous.
This is why medical professionals from China many of whom have survived infection could be of immense help

Was sitting on the side of the Udonthani Bypass this afternoon at around 5PM. The traffic was stacked up requiring 2 sets of lights to make a right turn
Then I came home and ready this article from the Bangkok Post. Not saying it is misleading but the answer could well be theree is no traffic down south of us, WHY ? you may ask Well its because they re all up here in Issan
Thailand Shutdown, most certainly from outside, but, internally?
Isan roads eerily quiet during crisis

Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.
Yesterday Boris Johnson said in his video message that testing was the tool that would “unlock the coronavirus puzzle. This is how we will defeat it in the end”. Shortly afterwards in the daily press briefing the government’s deputy chief medical officer told ITV’s Robert Peston that testing was “a bit of a side issue, to be truthful with you”.

Goes with DM's observations of a busy junction at airport and ring road.
There are two plots of land on an adjacent soi to mine where they started storing flat beds and tankers last year. The tractor units back in, drops the empty trailer and leaves. Maybe cheaper parking for excess inventory? I don't know how the local trucking industry runs but towards the end of last year, the lots were pretty full. These aren't all the same fleet or type either, just a trailer, tanker parking lot. They were still pretty full a few weeks ago.
I just noticed this afternoon that both plots are almost empty. That's maybe around 50 tankers and flat beds that are suddenly back on the road again.
Maybe there's a whole lot of inventory being moved around. Stockpiling? Official? Unofficial? Over the border?

Hi Barney
In the Dr Price Video (Page 15 of this thread), Dr P, is specifically asked this question; "Do people become immune after they recover from the viruss virus". (at the 51 min 20 sec mark).
His response is "YES people are absolutely becoming immune ............" He then goes on to talk about the stories of people having rebound??
But then there is another video with a Professor Kim Woo-joo (Korean) that suggests the opposite. Unfortunately it is in Korean, so you have to read Subtitles.

Looking at the list of exceptions to the 10 to 4 am curfew announced to start tomorrow im still expecting quite a few vehicles to be moving over night .. legally or not is the question.
Lets hope this keeps the case number stable or gets em down .. and hopefully people wont try to celbrate Songkhran and cause mass infections in clusters.

Well I have two friends back home with the virus, one was recovering but has had a serious relapse (40 odd years old) in hospital and its not looking good and one got better, relapsed, sort of getting better again (30 odd years old). This virus isn't just the flu, it's nasty and it kills, please stay safe everyone.

Bad news for progressives whose missions has been to destroy western civilization in general and the U.S. in particular. Various medicines and practices have been found and more are promising to mitigate the China virus.
