We had a fair mix of nationalities working there in the wonderful, pre-politically correct days and we settled on the ethnic moniker of "chokies" which was earned through the local's penchant to hawk great gobs of thick, sticky, bubbly green phlegm along with being masters of the explosive, single-nostril, snot evacuation with casual finger flick of the residual runny bits.
