The Korean's latest virus cluster is having contact tracing issues due to the clubs where it broke out being in the gay area and frequented by students. Nobody wants to be identified as going there. As a consequence, I am making sure I attend only straight cock fights.

Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.
No new cases today and 1 released from Hospital with no deaths.
Yesterdays figure of 7 new cases were not so bad as all the cases were from Thai Nationals
who had returned from Pakistan & were already in Government Quarantine.
So there were no new infections from the general public yesterday or today.

I see our Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, cant count or add
Department explains reasons for removing some countries from high-risk list
National
The Department of Disease Control has explained the reasons for removing China, South Korea as well as Hong Kong and Macau from the list of countries with high risk of Covid-19 infection.
The announcement, signed by Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, has been published in the Royal Gazette on Friday (May 15) and will go into effect as of May 16.“The criteria that we use to consider lifting the status ‘high risk of infection’ are: The territory must have less than 20 internal cases in the past 14 days, and that it must have medical and public health readiness to effectively handle the outbreak,” said Dr Walairat Chaifoo, the department’s head of epidemiology, on Friday (May 15).Walairat added that China has reported less than 12 new patients per day since April 23, except on April 29 when there were 21 new cases from overseas and one local case.
Just look at China's numbers date 20/04 82747 confirmed 15/05 82933 confirmed
seems a few more than 20 in 14 days
now I know 20th April till 15th May is more than 14 days or a fortnight
but you pick any 14 days during this period and it will be more than 20

BREAKING: The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand has just extended the ban on international passenger planes landing in #Thailand to 30 June 2020. This now means that the earliest foreigners can come to Thailand is in July. Presuming that is they don’t extend the ban again.

^ Thanks vince. I will pass to the agency in Perth where we have at least two Aussie Udonites "stranded" in their homeland with family up here. They're champing at the bit since their offshore contract got scrubbed about a month ago.
Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.
Some sobering information passed to me by my brother in the UK, which should warn us all that to let our guard down is not an option regarding this Virus and people who have recovered MAY have long term internal organ problems.
Quoting :
Every week we learn something new about this
Covid-19, which has been around for scarcely five months. It is now clear that in the more serious cases,
this virus produces a disease that is rather more than an attack on the respiratory system. Far from being
a single system attack, critical Covid-19 is a complex multisystem clinical syndrome. The study,
reported by Mike Roberts and colleagues, describes that in addition to attacking the airways and lungs,
the virus may cause a microvascular reaction with increased likelihood of clotting in the blood vessels
and lungs and as if that is not bad enough the inflammatory damage may target the kidneys, heart,
nerves, muscles, brain and gastro-intestinal tract. About a third of patients hospitalised with Covid-19
will have acute kidney damage. For such critical cases as these who survive, a long and complex period
of rehabilitation will be needed. The more I understand this virus the less I want to meet it.
So although we may think we are free from this, the fact that now it is generally accepted that it will be around for months if not years and may never be entirely eradicated, then all lessons learnt to protect ourselves should be carried on in perpetuity

Sitting watching a Thai "afternoon telly" show with daughter and all the presenters are wearing masks. Thought came into my head. When the gogo's are allowed to operate again, will it be shaved, sans panties but designers masks. A whole new breed of pervs.

Plus 3 with zero deaths, I believe the 3 new cases were imports again.

The solution to the coronavirus may have been staring us in the face this whole time, lazily chewing on a carrot.
