Thailand on Wednesday (May 26) reported 2,455 new COVID-19 cases and 41 additional deaths.

Wednesday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 137,894 with 873 deaths.

The news comes as vaccine hesitancy has risen sharply in Thailand opinion polls show, just weeks away from the start of a mass inoculation programme.

Thailand on Thursday (May 27) reported 3,323 new COVID-19 cases and 47 additional deaths.

● 2,104 new infections
● 1219 prison / prison infections

Thursday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 141,217 with 920 deaths.

The news comes as Thailand is modifying its coronavirus immunisation strategy to target worst-hit areas and sectors where clusters are most likely to emerge.

The land office is closed for 3 days due a covid case there .. 7 infections so far ..also Faroh House restaurant a 3 day closure fir spraying as a customer who later tested positive had visited the restaurant ...not sure if both locations are connected with reference to the same group being infected.

Land office closed till 7th June.
6 cases all in the money/ cash counting group. They are on 14 day self isolation. Others are being tested now and told to isolate till test results.

Thailand on Friday (May 28) reported 3,759 new COVID-19 cases and 34 additional deaths.

● 2,465 new infections
● 1294 prison / prison infections

Friday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 144,976 with 954 deaths.

The news comes as The Department of Medical Sciences has announced that nine production lots of the AstraZeneca vaccine, manufactured locally by Siam Bioscience, passed quality inspection by the Department.

The news comes as Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha reassured all Thais that they will be inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines this year.

I wouldn’t believe a word the government put out,the same bs as saying they will sell the vaccine in private hospitals.you can’t buy the vaccine anywhere.dont believe me then just google it.here in the Uk most of us have had the jab or both like myself and the country has been released after 6 months of lockdown.in fact the Uk seems to have gone mad.i went on the pee yesterday and no one was wearing masks even though they should unless sat down.as far as business and work are going its bloody mental.you can’t get a tradesman to work for less than £200-£300 a day and London is even higher.
The shops are running out of supplies,for example a bag of cement went from £5 to £8 a bag and the same goes for a lot of building materials.the order books have gone through the roof.in fact it feels like we’ve been at war and got over it.
I went to two bars last night and everyone was buying trays of Yeager bombs left,right and centre.i should of took a picture of a table full of drinks just left there for anyone to drink.
Anyway the Thai government should stop blurting out that they will sell the vaccine and have a few cases because it doesn’t help them getting their hands on the vaccine as it hasn’t anything to do with money else all them that could afford it would be at the front of the queue and the poorest would die.the World health organisation will look at the bs statistics and as Thailand’s gov say there’s hardly a problem they will look at places like India who do have a massive problem and allocate supplies where it’s needed most.if you read what the gov put out you’ve been in Thailand too long.

A total of 2,933 patients were discharged from hospital having made a full recovery.
Sunday's death toll brings the cumulative number of fatalities to 1,012 and cases to 154,307.

I have been tracking the day-on-day increase/decrease for infections and deaths during the latter part of this 3rd wave as well as a rolling 7-day average of the same two indicators. This is the first time that all 4 lines have been up-trending since I commenced tracking on 26 April. I have been using the published data from the start of the current 3rd wave on 1 April.
