The U.S. Embassy sent out a rather vague e-mail to U.S. expats pointing to the Thai Government Intervac Site for appointments. Deeper into the links showed a new site is supposed to go live tomorrow at this link: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/ The Intervac site focuses almost entirely on the Bangkiok area and states clearly it is for SINOVAC and Astra Zeneca vaccines. It makes no reference to the newly arrived Pfizer that has 150,000 doses dedicated to over 60 expats...

4,893 in ICU as of today. If this goes up to around 6,800 (give or take a 100) it will match, at least on a per capita basis, the US's ICU use in January when covid was at its worst there.

The latest COVID email from UK embassy is dated 29-Jul and it's not in PDF format, just html email.

I'm making them but my pdf maker got it wrong and redid the one for last June.

I have CORRECTED the post ABOVE with the CORRECT 3rd August 2021 edition which is the LATEST edition.

TGF got a phone call from one of her friends saying that tomorrow there is a WALK-IN vaccination clinic at CENTRAL 4th floor from 8 AM and foreigners are welcome.. Anyone heard of this ?

Nam Som is offering walk-in Sinovac vaccine tomorrow. They plan on giving up to 300 vaccines. I wonder how many people will show up?

Not heard that monk ..but tomorrow is vaccine day at Nong Khai general Hospital .. all the staff approx 20 ppl from the factory here in are booked in to go and get Sinovac first jabs .. also the hospital where i had a recent surgery TCPH in Thabo will be having a walk in vaccine day and will call to confirm a few days before .. seems to be more opportunities coming up for a vaccine but having registered via the expatvac site for hopefully Pfizer and paid for Moderna at BKKUDH i will soon run out of arms to put the needle in.

Just caught a snippet the ch 3 news saying the Pfzeŕ vaccines that recently arrived would be goin out to 77 provinces ready to be used ..I THINK it said from 10 th August but not sure...

Did anyone else see it or has it shown up.on any social media platforms yet

As of 6pm on Monday (Aug 2), a total of 28,788 expats had registered on the Expatvac platform following its launch on August 1, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Tanee Sangrat announced on Twitter.
Of those, 22,653 were expats under the age of 60, with 6,135 people aged over 60 also registering.
A further 1,916 people with underlying health conditions, along with 114 pregnant women also registered.
In his tweet, Mr Tanaee said that vaccination appointment dates will likely be after August 10 or 11.
Previously, Thailand's Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said that 150,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine, donated by the US government, would be allocated for foreigners in Thailand.

Ban Dung Hospital was set up with several marquies on the western side offering AZ and/or Sinovac. I believe there were VERY few takers. My friends 16yo daughter was told by her teacher (doing home tuition) to reject it, it was offered to her via a phone call?? Her mother also rejected listening to too many jungle drums. I told her if she wants Pfizer she had better start jumping up and down on top of the 78yo olde man and get 12 weeks pregnant in a hurry. 555555

Regrettably the only vaccine that is possibly available here is Sinovac AFIK AZ is not available.

I have a second offer of Sinovac, the first time since there were few doses available it was easy to pass. It’s not such an easy choice this time.
