Plenty ebb and flow, making for compelling viewing. England eking out a win now will elevate everyone's game more than a token one at Old Trafford and/or the Oval.

Perfectly poised game. If England can't win from this position they'll never win. Unless of course the weather plays a part. Been an amazing test so far so. I'm tipping there will be plenty more twists and turns.

I thought yesterday (Saturday) was rained off and gave up checking the TV coverage. Seems I gave up too early.

Hoping the rain holds off today and get to see some good cricket.

Great much needed win for England yesterday. Not sure I would have let Ali bat at No. 3 mind you.

Bit of a break before the 4th test at Old Trafford on 19th July.

I was listening to the Beeb earlier today, interviewing the chap heading up MLC in the US. Yes readers, cricket is the next great world sport to get prime time in 'merica. Starts tomorrow in the Grand Prairie stadium in Texas.

English ladies drew level with their Aussie counterparts in the Ashes with a fine win last night.

The Sheilas have been dominant over the past few years beating all comers. Cant remember the exact stat but, in commentary, it was said that tail ender Megan Schutt had only faced a couple of balls in the last few years. Normally the tail aren't needed.

Indeed an excellent result and here's hoping it inspires their ball-bearing counterparts at Old Trafford and beyond.

W T F was that review about? Why didn't Warner tell him to walk? His earlier bouts of prolific batting must have gotten to him. Plumb.

Was a great knock after all his playing and missing in the first hour. A brilliant, clean hitting display after that.

Rain dances happening all over Australia today.

2 sessions left, rain still falling. Australia may snatch a draw against the odds and retain ashes. If session 2 is rained out, it will be difficult for England to grab a win. My sympathy for the MCC, test one declared too early, test four far to late.

Gutted that the (typically) fickle Pommie weather will likely deny the Australians the opportunity to press home for another victory. :(

Oooohhh !! It NEVER Rains in Australia Does it ??.....Heavy flooding broke out in the Central Coast and Sydney areas of New South Wales, Australia, beginning in early July 2022. Around 85,000 people were displaced by the flooding or requested to leave their homes by authorities.
