Hi everybody.
Been quite a while since I have been in Udon.
Can anybody point me in the right direction for purchashing , bacon sausages and potatoes etc, for farangs in near central Udon? I am currently staying in Pannari Hotel. I am living ( just about ) out in Nonsung with no amenities or food available for a European...not even a bar.
I used to know Steves place and drunk monkeys place, I I know it has all changed a lot but appreciate any recomendations for supplies. Also while I am here in Central Udon with my wife of 21 years and my daughter 10 years old, a pub or eatery like Steve had before.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Funnily enpugh I was thinking the same about purchasing edible foods while talkig to a friend.
Udon has certainly changed over the years, whereas there were almost no places to purchase what one would call WESTERN FOODS< it has changed.
For my pennysworth. makro now offers areasonable amount of foods as you described, together wil some from BIG C, to fully enjoy and immerse yourself in a shopping frenzy CHEESE to MEET YOU, next to Phosri Road PPost Office offers the greatest selection.
Little Havana just around the corner from the Pannarai also offers a fair selection .
Seek and ye shall find.

What a silly comment from a so-called pillar of correctness as you wish to portray.

Talking of inedible, I fear you've opened your own can of linguistic worms when you introduced the notion of purchasing the inedible sort of food to this conversation by stipulating that the aforementioned foodstuff needs to be of the edible sort.
