Jeez Pratty, celebrating the victory of the most right wing Liebour Party in history. This lot are more right than Bliar for goodness sake.
The only slightly left policy I can see is, hammer the private schools (not all are the same as Eton). The old Liebour mantra of dumbing down education to the lowest common denominator raises its ugly head again.

Yes, happy to be joining with you in celebrating this momentous occasion, Alex.
Re: Lefties losing it..this weeks losers.
Yip, absolutely momentous.
The toxic SNP almost wiped out in Westminster. Unfortunately we have to wait while they hang on in the pretend Parliament in Holyrood until 2026 with the help of the Loonie Left Greens.

As what I suppose could be a lefty (certainly among the usual posters to this forum) there are a few bright spots from the most right-wing Labour Party ever managing to obliterate the Tories.
These are (1) the election of Jeremy Corbyn, who has become one of FIVE independents in the House of Commons.
(2) Despite the 'great expectations' of Reform, they only managed four seats (four too many), and were matched by the Greens.
(3) Plaid Cymru cast the Tories into the Welsh version of nothingness.
(4) And over in Northern Ireland Sinn Fein now have a majority.
Not a bad performance, old chaps and chapesses.

Must be quite galling for Steptoe Corbyn, he had the same total number of votes in 1997 as votes cast for Sir Flip Flop Hindsight last night and was absolutely hammered. Re: Lefties losing it..this weeks losers.
The whole thing is pretty embarrassing for the great republic. The sitting president, an aging dementia patient, lost to a conman, criminal - seditionist, who, after the last election, sent his goons into the parliament to string up his vice president and the speaker because he lost. Of the 340 million odd people in the USA these two are the best and brightest.

(2) Five seats now from around 14% vote share. Ignore at your peril. (Or until Nigel gets a job on Trump's administration and abandons his ugly English children (again)).
(3) Nothing to see here, move along now (same-same for the SNP up north)
(4) But Sinn Fein won't take their seats because the usual, etc., etc.. The upside is the DUP got royally spanked.
More like Tory politics, f*cked. That must be quite galling for some.

Lets just wait until Hindsights honeymoon period is over and then lets comment on policies. So far as I can see Liebour have made some statements of intent with no actual policy statements (ie how do we will do this) so when the economy is so strong or the additional tax revenues on private schools are available to meet the rest of the intentions we will see how successful they are.
Hindsights speech, "I am not tied by political dogma' but he is going to tax childrens education?
