For the uninitiated Doric is even worse than Gaelic to understand.

Now now, old bean, I wasn't saying that you have a mooth fu' o' marbles just as you aren't suggesting that I spik affy like a glaikit teuchter.

For 'National Self-loathing', I would consider it more appropriate for the slogan, 'Away from Nationalism and Consideration for Humanity'.
