Since this was the first time I had applied, there was much paperwork for both me and them to fill out. =D> =D> Everything was done chee...

Re: UBC sattelite on multiple TV's
If you don't mind watching the same channel on all TVs then you can use a splitter and run the cable from the UBC receiver. UBC will not perform this service for you but anyone with basic Cable TV knowledge can do it.

Re: Music VCD's (kareoke) Transfer to Music CD's....?
The best software I have found for this is Cucusoft. You can download it free at the link below http://www.cucusoft.com/ultimate-dvd-video-converter-suite.asp The output format you want to choose for your older CD player is .wma Although it is a trail version, it never expires and does not affect au...

SMS Text Messages to North America not working
Every year I return to Canada and keep in touch with my Thai wife via Text messages and Skype. Last year around June we found that the AIS (12call) was not relaying the messages so she switched her phone to DTAC. This worked fine until about August and then stopped working as well. I tried calling m...

New Person In Charge at Nong Khai Immigration
I was in Nong Khai Immigration this week to get a 30 day extension. After going through the regular steps with Mr. Happy I was told to follow one of the female assistants to an office in the lobby. Major Rapeephat Yoseph (Inspector) was there to approve everything Mr. Happy had done and sign the vis...

Khun Paul,
I am most interested in the outcome of your next meeting with the Administrators. I am currently 63 and looking for medical coverage that extends beyond 65 at a reasonable cost.

Thanks for the quick replies. Perhaps I should clarify as follows: I also realize the way I did the previous 1 year may not the way to do it. I mistakenly thought that the Retirment Visa I obtained on March 6, 2007 in Pattaya, would be good until March 5th, 2008. My funds are tied up in a term depos...

Non-Immigrant Visa from Laos
I hold a Canadian Passport and a Retirment Visa which expires Dec 25, 2007. Unfortunately all my funds are tied up in Term deposits until February 2008 so I won't be able to put 800,000 Baht into a Thai Bank account by the time my current visa expires. I plan to go to Laos and apply for a 90 or 60 d...
