Another tips about the new airport is that if you are going to take an taxi. Go up to the departuresfloor, 4th floor I think it is, and take an taxi from there which just has left people there. Then you will get the taxi in to the city for around 200 Baht instead of taking one from arrivals floor wh...

It is about 4 Km. into the centre of Udon from here. I am sure that reception would be happy to arrange a tuk tuk as there isn't a great deal of alcohol available in the immediate area - unless you are going to slip into Makro... :D :D 4 Km on that way, that´s almost halfway to my girlfriends...
