@RJJ04 : The pic was taken recently and buffalo's are used to maintain fields where plants are growing already, like man or sugarcane. It's not an unusual sight here at all. Obviously, for plowing whole fields tractors etc are used, but even then you still see a buffalo plowing a field now and then.
