Les and Dingley are selling their beautiful home and I'm posting here on Udonmap for them. They have been the best neighbors but are now moving to their new home just across town. We were their neighbors for 6 months and I can attest to the great location. The house is situated in one of the most be...

Re: Food Processor?

Jiffy is so gross. Also, we have two boys and go through at least 1 jar/week (so it would be more like 16 jars of pb). The recipe is really simple: Put 250 grams of roasted, salted peanuts into a food processor and turn it on. After about 3 or 4 minutes, it should be at the right consistency (obviou...

Re: Food Processor?

Yeah, but purchasing a food processor kind of defeats the purpose of saving money by making my own pb. Plus I'm only here for 4 months so I'm not looking to invest in something that wouldn't even work in my home country (voltage-wise).

Food Processor?

I am looking to come over and use someone's food processor to make peanut butter. We were in Bangkok and I had a friend whose husband worked for the US Embassy, which meant that she had every kitchen appliances known to man (shipped conveniently from her home). So I used her processor to whip up pea...

Re: Looking to Rent a House

Thank you for all your kind responses! David is going there this weekend to scope things out (btw, the username is neutral so that either one of us can post - sorry for the confusion). And if we can figure out transportation - only being there for 5 months is a problem because it's hardly worth buyi...

Re: Looking to Rent a House

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at the FBI website and found only 2 houses that were not already rented out, but they both looked promising. Are there any other reliable real estate people/companies that you know of? Also, we don't have a vehicle but may buy a scooter or something, so what are ...

Looking to Rent a House

My spouse and two kids (2 and 4 yrs old) will be moving to Udon for five months at the end of this month. We've been looking online for a house to rent in Udon but have had a hard time finding much of anything. We're looking for 2-3 BR, not too far from the city center. Where's the best place to loo...
