No boarding pass or stamp in your passport, so I guess we have to keep some kind of proof, if we are trying to keep our stay in Thailand under 180 days.

If you bring in a lump sum of cash in a year that you are not a tax resident, and then just live off those funds as a tax resident for a few years, would you be liable for any tax? If you bring in a lump sum of cash in a year that you are not a tax resident, and then just live off those funds as a tax resident for a few years, would you be liable for any tax?

Presently, under Section 41 of the Revenue Code, any foreign resident in the kingdom for over 180 days is required to make an income tax return.???
