kopkei, I only see 3 spark plugs. Does that mean it's a 550 or 660cc? If so how do I tell which one? Thanks

buying a tuk tuk in Udon Thani - Samlor
Hi bumper. There are 2 places that I found up here near my place. One is in That Phanom and the name is in Thai and I can't read it but the phone number is 089-7121420. This is where the man quoted me a price of 80,000 baht for I think a 660cc 4 speed Daihatsu. The other place where I actually bough...

Hello bumper. I bought it in Na Gae. I have their phone number if you want. There's also a shop that builds one with the 660cc 4 speed in That Phanom and I have their phone as well. Hi kopkei, apparently there's a Daihatsu charmant 1400 cc. But I'm definitely no expert on engines. You could be right...

Well here with the update on my samlor quest. On Sunday the 15th I found and purchased a samlor kreuang in Na Gae. It has a 1400cc Daihatsu 5 speed engine and can carry well over 1 ton of weight in the back (so I was told. Haven't loaded that much into it yet, only 4 people from the family). On Mond...

kopkei, I've tried driving both models and find both to be uncomfortable for my legs but I was taking a close look at it and think that I can modify this one fairly easy to give myself more leg room. I can only find this style being built here now so another reason for me to chose it. Thanks for all...

Hi Kopkei, Thanks for the quick reply. Yes the picture you have is real similar to what I'm ordering. It's just a little bit different design in the front. Looks like yours has more protection from the weather. But same wheels and otherwise same body design. The shop in That Phanom was working on 3 ...

I just found this post so hope that I'm not too late to learn something here. I've found a shop that builds samlor kreuangs or tuk tuks (not really sure of the right terminology). They're built with the 660cc Diahatsu engine and the 3 smaller car tires with the front being a bit open motorcycle styl...
