Barney,
Thanks for your reply. I just want to know if I can eg, go to Thailand 5 times in 1 year for 30 days each time and still be eligible for the pension. Using a 50/50 rule for time spent in Australia. 5 trips 30 days, being a polite way of not pushing it too far.

Re: effects on Oz pension Thai Marriage
There is a minimum time you need to have spent working in oz to get pension. If I remember it is 25yrs for full pension then decreasing % of pension for less years Your spot on there Fatone, 25 years in Australia for a full pension, if you leave the country to retire you get nothing else in the way...

Thanks for the report and info on your golfing trip. Golfing holidays are up there with the best and most enjoyable trips I have had. Just wish my bloody lotto numbers would come good soon so I could join you for the next trip. [-o< The banter on those trips can be a lot of fun, especially over a fe...

Re: Fantasy Football 2009/10
Yes Polehawk, I am the Aussie. Team sick buffalo. Although I follow an EPL team, EVERTON, I am on a slow learning curve with all the other teams and players. But it's fun anyhow. I really wish I could have a complete squad of English players but i don't think that they would score very well. Maybe n...

Re: Fantasy Football 2009/10
Just had a panic attack. Noticed that both my goalkeepers are not playing this wed. I never consider changing the keeper. Too involved in goal scoring strategy, but that doesn't always work.
I am learning more about individual players though. A good learning curve this fantasy league.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009/10
Thanks Zidane. I was fortunate to swap the captaincy from Drogba to Lampard at the right time. Both you and Som did well on 61 points. Clawing my way up the ladder but that can change with a bad week. BUT!! ..... did you have to mention Everton's results this week.  I would rather see Eve...

Wish I was there to have a beer with you. Still stuck in the "Aussie" boonies. It sounds like you are still enjoying your teaching gig near Mahasarakham.
I hope your students are still excelling in their studies as much as they were last year.
Enjoy your evening in the 652. Cheers mate.

Whenever I need an "Udon" fix, I will play this. When stuck in falang land for too long, something like this is needed.
Many thanks from the wilderness that is Port Hedland.

I was sober when I watched this and still couldn't see how he went down the last 2 times  Bernard Dunne didn't see any of them coming. :badteeth: Agreed, it was a good fight. Love is blind........ Marriage is the eye opener. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Travelling on a bus, a woman was reading a newspaper item about life expectancy statistics. Turning to the man beside her, she asked, "Do you know that every time I breathe, someone dies?" "That's interesting," he answered. ...

The price of gold at the moment indicates the dollar is weakening. I think when we see gold in the $800 range we will be able to say the dollar is stronger. IMHO :D :D Just caught the end of an interview on the radio yesterday about the price of gold. As I say, didn't hear the whole interview but t...

Thanks Zidane. Anything to ease the pain will do.
On the news tonight, Lucas Neil has accepted terms with Everton. This will hopefully bolster their defence.
2 Aussies in the team, that's gotta be a good thing eh. [-o<
AEK Athens tonight. Pity it's not AEK Udon.
