England cricketers in South Africa

I think what was important was almost everyone contributed to this victory.
I personally would have given The Man of The Match to Compton........he steadied the ship on the first day.

The first Sharia compliant airline

. This Shariah compliancy idea is nothing new so the headline of this thread is misleading. I think Sharia compliance is not only about pork and alcohol. Airlines might claim their hostesses wear the Hijab but many Muslims would complain they wear a sexually (If too strong, provocative) style of he...

Consolidated Joke Thread

The wife came home early and found her husband in their bedroom making love to a very attractive young woman. And she was somewhat upset. 'You are a disrespectful pig!' she cried. 'How dare you do this to me -- a faithful wife, the mother of your children! I'm leaving you.. I want a divorce right aw...

The Chef comes to your table...very clever

The French restaurant Le Petit Chef (Little Chef), came up with an original way to entertain guests while waiting for your order by using a projector on the ceiling, and the animation on the table. There is a small chef who appears on your plate.

Thai Economy and Spirits Are Sagging

I think Thailand tries to solve its economic problems by spending too much time on the minutia. I have at least one visit to Singapore and Hong Kong every year and am always impressed when I go to a food court or bar at the number of students who are happy to talk to me mainly to improve their Engli...

Waanjai.... I am not sure vulnerable is the right word and if it is, it not only exists in this forum, but all over. IMO at best, these people are foolish and believe themselves to be sufficient in all aspects of life whereas they have a closed mind which prevents them from properly analysing situat...

Do you mean you should get a bigger pension than people who have been on permanent disability all there lives and have never put a penny into the system because that's what you are saying. Or is your argument one of "I hate them therefore they shouldn't get anything"? You only obfuscate when you com...

Yes the figures aren't correct. The current basic state pension is £115.95 for a single person or £185.45 for a married couple. This basic pension is below the government's income support figure so if they have no other source of income they can get pension credits from the list I outlined earlier. ...

A drunken man was going down the street flinging his hands right and left, when one of his arms came across the nose of a passer-by. Bank ATM Fees 180

I think that you will find that there is now a policy in Udon of the banks refusing to do this anymore & telling the customer to use the ATM. Or so I have been reliably informed... Two weeks ago I went into a bank in Pattaya and asked the current sterling exchange rate.....54.30 I was informed. Han...
