[ what does "ka" stand for?    , oops, sorry again, have you ever been to thailand? sorry, couldn't help it again. Well, sorry Laphanphon I asked. "21 ka" could have meant something different than "kha" - female ending of a sentence - if that's what you are referring to.

My point is the same as yours!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing. Not anti you for sure. You are allowed to post your topics of controsversy and claim your revenge on a young lady. That is your right. Just goes to prove: Nothing. It is just you have stated you do not like Thailand except for a two week paid play...

Cant figure how your team won Bangsean_girl Good point Aardvark. I think that while the freedome issue can be disputed left or right, the unquestionable fact is that marriage brings along the burden of responsibility. And that's in my opinion a much harder issue to tackle than some loss of freedome.

Lynx, I'm not sure where you got your list of "Requisites of a valid gift" but they seem contradictory to me... 3. be absolute and unconditional except when made for a specific purpose, and 5. not be given for a consideration Pakawala, I am seriously considering intermediation as one of the options...

Now we know you as a lawyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wonder how much that will be worth in Thailand. Oh well another lesson at WBU. What's your point? First of all, I am not a lawyer by profession. That would be the hedge fund industry. Second, I clearly stated in one of ...

it's not yours, you gave it away, and you can't prove it is yours - whatever you say. how can you posssibly explain, in any court of law, that she could borrow this thing only until you decide you want it back?? if she gives it back it's out of the kindness of her heart. You are dead wrong here. I ...

Well, the trend in the Western societies is early 30s now ...

On that note Bangsean_girl, how old are you? I am 37 and I am sure my views regarding marriage will greatly differ in 10 years time.

we have nothing in commen. Not true! You two seem to like to disagree alot. See, at least one thing in common. =D> That doesn't sound to me like the best foundation for a marriage ... Hmmm.. On the other hand, my ex and I shared a lot in common (besides love for a certain stone) and still it...

Hmm, you state workload as your argument. Don't you think that marriage allows you to split it up and share it with your partner (whereas as a single you have to deal with every issue alone)?

PS: BTW, I am single (and in the single advocate camp) but workload wouldn't be on my list of arguments.

He didn't mind the 1000s of customers before he met her but he minds a few hundred more before he marries her? I just don't see the logic here.

if its worth big money i bet she has sold it. That's what she told me and that's what I had believed until she visited our mutual friend (our former flatmate) in SG. She noticed the ring but made no comment to her in that regard. Instead, she sent me the pics she took of my ex in SG, where the ring...

Irish Alan: Yes, this is the very case when monetary considerations are not the issue. Maligator: There are some issues that speak against intermediation as my initial step to resolve this issue. First of all, if you read a few submissions back, she claims to have sold it already. My previous attemp...

Is this to get a certain stone back ?? B careful my friend. Hi Maligator, yeap, that's the case. If I give her any advanced notice, she will try to weave her way out of it, or worse - try to re-establish something I am not interested in rebuilding. I just want the thing back. I don't have any secur...
