Re: Trump 2025
so, how many DEI staff are now on Paid Leave?? hundreds? over a thousand? How long will it take the Office of Personnel Management to either reassign those staff to a non-DEI position or implement a Reduction In Force policy for all those people?? I'm betting the bureaucracy will slow roll it and th...

had a friend in the States that owns a BBQ sauce company send me 4 bottles of his product. These were small bottles. Cost him $30 to send them priority mail. Thai Postal had the Customs charge with the package downtown. The Customs duty was around a 1000 Baht. This compares to 20 kilo care packages ...

Re: Second Ring Road Plans
The Road to Bueng Khan will, as mentioned connect Route 2 to Rte 22 and then go northeast passing Ban Dung.. So, the connection is that the road will indeed by a "bypass" of Udon, at least for vehicles going east on 22 to Sakhon Nakhon. Here's the original outer Ring Road plan from over 8 years ago....

Re: Second Ring Road Plans
it faded from budget plans supposedly. There is the planned Udon Thani to Bueng Khan highwyay that might be part of the issue. It is planned to cut northeast from Rte 2 just north of the Khumpawapi exit and be built northeast, crossing Rte 22 (Sakhon Nakhon road) about 10 kilometers west on Nong Han...

pretty much. Those three could have really messed things up. Now we'll see if Johnson supported by Trump can "whip" the Republicans into a political coherence that usually only the Dems pull off.. To get anything done politically is going to take all the Repubs to support it..

as for the topic of what you can believe these days... well, I try to get my information from a wide variety of sources so I can look at one and say, "aha.. look at the facts that are missing.." or at another and determine that context is missing.. With the very short news cycle, the media of al typ...

let's hope the process gets abbreviated somewhat.. I know they were starting a program down at Immigration in BKK where you would upload all relevant documents to their site, then, when complete, given an appointment to go in and process it.. Hopefully that would make it a 30 minute process.. Other ...

you can bet those two masked and voice altered sources had the full approval of Mossad to make those disclosures... Mossad pulled a good one on Hezbollah. But, I've got to wonder, in formulating the plan what were the projected "triggers" to initiate the pager and radio blasts.. Certainly it must ha...

Gaetz is an a-hole to the max. You've got to wonder with all the accusations flying around prior to the election in the November how he got re-elected in his District. I guess that's the corrupt power of the incumbency.. Now, he's resigned, bowed out and likely will get some paid talking head positi...

Re: USA has the most expensive Health Insurance, WHY?
what bugs me about US health care is if you go into the hospital for anything you can't walk out at the end with one billing.. You'll end up getting billed for the doctors, the nurses, the lab work, the specialist who reivewed the lab work, the X-ray tech, and on and on.. Not one consolidated bill b...

the "world" sat on its hands while Iran supplied Hezbollah with thousands of rockets, missiles and money. The "world" sat on its hands while Syria went down the toilet and Assad's regime, supported by Iran, murdered tens if not hundreds of thousands of its own citizens. The "world" still sits on its...
