Re: Changing default drive back to "C"

Hi Morti,
No options are given to me when downloading Yahoo Messenger.I think this may have something to do with Yahoo email being downloaded to my c drive and it wanting to hook up to that system in someway.

Re: Changing default drivers

Ron, I'm like my brother when it comes to computers, a total neanderthal (is that spelt right?) and if I got an external hard drive I would probably f/up somewhere trying to do what you say anyway. But hey, when I get a brain downloaded to my head and can understand the kb and hd i'm pretty sure you...

Hi, I have a Sony VAIO laptop(for my sins, oh how I hate computers) and a freind recently changed my default driver from the c drive to the vaio d drive because there was more memory on that drive. However I have been trying to download Yahoo Messenger but it only wants to go to the c drive. So can ...

GBP HITS ANOTHER LOW

I looked at the GBP V Baht at 5pm tonight on the FX rates of the Bangkok Bank and to my horror saw that the pound had dropped to 51.86 Baht it has since risen to 52.86. I tried to find for some solice in historical rates and came across this article. It did not fill me with confidence. Before 1880 t...

Re: 'US missiles' hit Pakistan town

I have just read the article written by the New York Times on Pakistani Millitias fighting and trying to clear their villages of Al queda backed millitants. In my opinion this New York rag is as bad as the BBC in the reporting of the facts and does not deserve its reputation as a reputable newspaper...

Re: Baht What up with Dat?????

Alan, I'm a Brit, and I hear about the Thai Baht being propped up all the time and maybe its true to some extent. But I don't think we can blame our problems of the weak GBP on the Thai government. I think it has more to do with an American system which can allow this subprime debacle to happen and ...

Re: Have you adjusted your Budget?

Yeah, Ditto everyone else, I dumped UBC as well, I also draw the same amount of money out once every 8 days now and not 7, this way I only visit the cashpoint 46 times a year and not 52 saving quite a lot of money. Also now my wife makes the money last just one day extra, she doesen't seem to realis...

Re: Is it better to take your bride to your home?

My wife has always had a hankering to to visit England with me. A couple of years ago I took her over the border to Vientiene for two days while I did the normal Visa thing. After going to the office to get things started we decided to go and eat. A couple of hours later, and after visiting numerous...

Sometimes creating tensions with another foreign power, is a way of diverting the peoples attention away from the turmoil within that country. Could this be one of those occasions? :| :|

Re: Is Thai girl pertty? (Farang's Vision VS Asian Vision)

Anyway enough of this serious ****. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have an ex-golfing mate in England who was into big women. When we finished our round of golf we always ended in the nineteenth hole for a beer. Behind the bar was this stunning (to him) 4ft 6in, 300 pound lovely. Now he at ...
