Yes I moved him forward originally but he was very uncomfortable with a lot his of weight over his front legs, so I moved his rear end back over the wheels (like in the picture) and he has more support from the cart - then he was able to walk around easily.

Soldier had a few steps with his wheels today. A few steps forward, a few back, then round in a circle. I'll have to take a video when he's up and running.

Soldier is still settling in to his new home. It's all new and a bit scary for him after being at the vets for so long. Soldier is now settling in to his new home. I'm keeping him in his cage for now as he seems to like the security of it. It also stops him dragging his stump around on the ground. He's also had a test drive in his new cart.
