We bought a Kubota 36 HP with mower, 2 plows, disc, harrow and push blade from the dealer on the ring road in June for around 460K. We use it on the farm and rent it out to the locals when it is not being used there. It is not a profitable business renting it out only a break-even considering fuel c...

We had a problem with the door latch one night after coming home from dinner and the owner himself went and purchased a new latch to install that night. I was pleased with...

Jimbo, It is not usually hard to remove if you do three things. 1 Make sure it is warm. Only try it if the windows are warm like sitting in the sun. 2 Pull up a corner and spray a dish detergent and water mix on the back while slowly pulling it down. 3 Keep the whole window wet while pulling off the...

Paul, I commend you on your caring and thoughtfulness. This school is on the way to the wife's village so I have seen it many times. I too have an interest in her village's school and you are quite right there is nothing like the smile on their faces when they get things they can use. I will PM you ...

Any help would be a blessing right now. She is trying but very upset and I really don't have a clue how to han...

Ray, I agree with you that it is a long term investment and also like I said if you can afford it. We all know nearly any investment is a gamble. I too bought some in Kuwait last year and some in country this year but now it is difficult to get it out. I merely meant that it looks promising for the ...

Having been here in the desert for the last couple of years my advise is If you can afford it buy some. This is the new currency that was issued in January 04 and was produced to replace the old currency. It will not be a quick return but in several years it will be a nice investment. Now it is ille...

BB, be careful if you decide to use Kuwait. Last year it took me an extra eight days to get out of Bangkok using Kuwait Airlines. I had already checked in and had my boarding pass and got bumped because a Kuwaiti and his six wives arrived late and they got to fly. It took eight days and many phone c...

Yes it is a good program and is quite helpful in some respects. I use it quite a bit here in the sandbox but keep in mind ALL the imaging is old and they were all taken from military sattelites. Military installations are clear but old photos so the bad guys don't have new info for their unsavory id...
