You better believe it.

Unless you have been living in a cave in Afganistan, the world economy is quite crappy. Here in Canada, esp in my province which exports the majority of its oil to America.Back in July when oil hit a peak of 147 USD a barrel,I would have laughed at anyone suggesting it would be at 59 USD in November.I for one will have scale back my time in LOS next year.

the good thing here in LOS is that the price of fuel goes down when the price of oil does... In my experience in uk, the price of fuel goes up when oil goes up but just never comes down again when the price of oil drops!!!! its shameful how the govt rips its people off...

Yes Dave it's called rip-off UK :( :( :( and the government leads in that respect. Anything and everything that increases, Mr Brown and/or the chancellor are in first hiking up taxes and everyone else follows. It's been like that for the last 10-12 years.

Hi,
Agree, i come from the Isle of Man and the cost of fuel over there is bad, Diseal being the highest,Gov. jumped on bandwagon when people started buying D. cars and increased the tax on D, and when i was over in August D. was 1.35 GBP per litre. Petrol 1.24GBP per litre. I believe from talking to my friends it has only come down 10P per litre, stll not enough.
Cheers Doug.

The price per litre is coming down now along the same lines as it was 1 year ago and dropping..as already said 96p can be found lower, supermarkets do a price war so good for the driver.

But anyone notice airline fuel surcharges dropping too...?

Yes but still one of the dearest on the planet for fuel and most other things, come to think of it, certainly in the industrialised world.

Hi Dave in response to your question "what about prices in the shops etc", well i can tell you i have just spoken to a few housewifes here in London and the answer is the same, not noticed any reductions, in particular with food (excluding pump prices of course although they will no doubt go up in the coming months because the chancellor will need help to pay for the debt).I am certainly paying the same price for bread, milk, cerials, cooking oil etc, etc, etc.

So on the basis of what i believe you were getting at in your previous posts then i think you are bang on with your comments.

See you all hopefully in December, providing the baht does'nt increase much more :( :( :(
