Facebook for Mr Slade is rather blank at present but then logically, if finding Mr Booker's facebook, then should show Mr Slade's picture as being a friend.

Is there any way you could describe Mr Slade and whether there were any court cases back in UK that are worth checking.

My angle is warning people to beware of getting involved with these crooks as i know of there previous antics elsewhere . There are a couple of long standing boardmembers on here who i spoke to a year or so ago about
what they'd been upto and gave them the heads up . ( I hate to see people scammed by other farangs !! )

The facebook link i put up is the right one as now they are covering there tracks and you can't access his friends list and removed the photo of his pet rottweiller that he had in udon .

Surely his ex mrs must have some info on him at 4 peaks ?

I dont know what planet cableguy is on but certainly not this one. I am the guy mentioned in his message with Facebook and have not lived in Steven Slades resort for months, as for being seen in Boston that is a joke, i have never left Thailand and to have it insinuated i am part of (The Plot) i find that extremely offensive. I am both a friend of Steven and Gareth and happy to be so, but being guilty by association would include half the farang population of Udon. I dont know what they are presumed to have done, only by reading the comments on this forum have i found out, some of which falls into the land of fantasy.

The undoubted truth of the matter is that 2 British guys were involved in various businesses in Udon Thani.
Gareth Meadows with Udon Property and Land
Steve Slade who seemed to be originally involved in the above estate Agency Business but then moved onto The 4 Peaks Residence.
A number of points are absolutely clear.
Neither person is currently resident in Udon.
Both have been 'reported' to have been going to various other locations, in a number of different countries.
Both certainly owe money to various businesses/persons in Udon Thani.
Mr. Slade appears to wish to seem to be somewhere where he is not.
A number of general points also occur to me...
A non-Thai cannot own more than 49% of a business.
It is possible that any money owed could be repaid from the businesses concerned - if it is a "business" debt, rather than a "personal" one.
The businesses they were involved with are still in Thailand (even if the gentlemen concerned are not) and so a legal case for the 'bad debt' could still be instigated in Thailand. As long as the business still had assets that is - which is almost certainly the case with regard to the 'resort' - unless it is Bank mortgaged to the hilt.
This is not a thread that will have a happy conclusion any time soon I think!!

Sounds to me like. yes you are making up stories as i know for a fact peter booker has never left thailand.. so why did you say he's been seen in boston

i agree it is wrong to include you into any wrong doing what the other 2 'might' have done......Cableman could have been given duff info, but he is receiving it from somewhere........

So what bits are fantasy...? Maybe you could clear some of it up seeing as Gareth and the other bloke aren't defending their corner....Unless Gareth wants to post something,..?.
Things can't be that bad can they G-man..? not returning some keys is not the worse crime committed (allegedly) in the world.......
