So, today I have decided to invest in a bar, I think I'll call it either "Old-timers Bar" or "The Moderators Bar" and fill the place with birds with big tittys..

Ya got the right Idea Old t........have an grand opening lots of Balloons and food, you can't go wrong.

Not done much today myself...unless something exciting pops up over the next few hours it could just be a bland old Monday.........might change my Avatar in a while....not decided yet.

A sad start to my day today. There has been a little jingjo (??geko) living behind my desk and he used to pop out and say hi. This morning I noticed him eyeing up a little white butterfly or moth. Couple minutes later I look down and my buddy is dead with the butterfly in his mouth, dead also. Could the little moth have been that toxic or was it just some weird coincidence?
Rest of the day was better, finished my online TEFL course, way ahead of schedule, with a 97% average.
Went out and had a nice supper to celebrate. Now Hong Thong and peanuts and checking udonmap for pearls of wisdom.

I personally find very little topics to post in and it has been that way for some time and I do agree with
Doug analogy of who he can question and I also agree with my friend Ralph like I said on another thread I will slowly fade away & stop posting my self yes I also agree with LA it is addicting but habits can be broken I know I broke two of them drinking & smoking 45 years with out a cigarette & 28 years with out alcohol so
breaking the posting habit should be a piece of cake for me

Doug, like any other poster can post exactly what they want AS LONG AS IT IS WITHIN THE POSTED RULES. Surely that is not a difficult concept to grasp.
To break that simple rule so many times (not once, not twice but with nearly every post)that warnings are issued & then a ban given is up to the poster. However, to blame anyone except himself for getting banned is farcical. To take exactly the same action within 2 days of a ban being lifted is, frankly, complete stupidity.
I have the greatest respect for anyone who cares to complain to me about an infringement of their freedom of expression. However complaints about the number of smilies being restricted or the stopping of turning every thread into a joke are, in my opinion, pathetic....

wow - wow - weeee, wat a great day in the fantastic UT for Old-Timer 2day, managed to get my electric bill down to B2550 this month which is bl00ody amazing considering my wife finds it necessary to have the A/C blasting 24/7 - so after a bit of a discussion with my wife as to who's carbon footprint is the worst we decided to google it and put it too the test who is the worst culprit - me or her.... well I lost... I was doing alright until it came to air travel, then I was basically in the bin....so it's a cool 25 degrees in Old-Timers house 24/7....
O/T... Working relentlessly for the Environment...chock dee.. $\:D/$

TODAY!!! Had to sit through 7hrs of a school inspection ( and pretend I was on the faculty ... OK I do assist the English apartment BUT I'm not an official member of staff ) ... Then I had to go home to a Private class UNI students, followed by a class dealing with private M1/M2 ( 13/14yr olds ) students

..... Pass the whiskey!!!! ... I need THERAPY!

I spent yesterday drinking obscure German liqueur made from Pears and no it was not Schnapps. Today I am catching up on all the posts I should not have made while under the influence of said liqueur

Sounds like Pear williams Roy.....an after dinner Brandy made from....ermmmm pears, the 'williams' variety.....some even have a pear growing inside....

Because we are currently on the edge of hurricane Katrina,the weather for the last day or two in the fantastic UT has been dreadful, so 2day it's been a day at cinemax in Old-Timers living room - I watched 3 movies, all genuine DVD's costing 80baht each from the night market... Crank High Voltage get's my first vote, followed by State of Play, and the one I rate the least is Terminator Salvation 4 - load of cr@p. I will definatley be going out tonight even if I've got to put my wellies and a kagool on.....
