Re: Just broken up with 'gf', Udon, here I come!
Thanks Bob for the info.
Thanks Wayne. Looks like I have a lot of sympathy, understanding and support on this board, you all seem to know Thai girls too well!
Not sure about the lightning, I have almost had my fill with TGs-had one before this one for year, was 2 timing me, and him, money from both of us for the same things etc-and she was not a Bargirl.
I may pay the Phillipines a visit after this trip to Udon.

Hey Roger,
Ive only been to the PI once for a conferance for work. We took over the Holiday Inn in Angelus City, 100 Americans, 30 Brits and 40 or so Irish. You can Imagine! From what I can actually remember of the place it was a bit of a hole(Angelus City) compared to Thailand although Im told the likes of Cebu is beautiful. I hope to go back at some point soon to see the real PI. The girls are lovely and their outlook on life is ever so slightly different than Thai Girls, but for me, Thai girls are more beautiful. I know we also had to have an armed Bodyguard with us whenever we left Andrews Airforce base, thats where the Holiday inn is located. Its a now defunct base but there is alot of Americans who still have houses there.

I have met many flippers overseas. I like them and I like the fact that you can get nice brown skinned ones who aren't monkeys! That sounds dreadful, but it's true.

You clearly have some sort of problem with me and are on some sort of moral crusade, and it seems you have backing. Fine, I'll stop posting if I offend you so greatly and just gather information.Laan Yaa Mo wrote:Agreed. You do sound dreadful.

Roger it is the offensive and derogatory remarks that you put in SOME of your posts which are offensive.rogerdoger wrote:You clearly have some sort of problem with me and are on some sort of moral crusade, and it seems you have backing. Khun Doger (slang for cigar or cigarette), I am simply answering the question you posed. Whether you continue to post or not is entirely up to you, not me.
However, I am curious as to whether you wanted your forum name to be rogerdodger or as you have it now?
Thanks.

Re: Just broken up with 'gf', Udon, here I come!
I couldn't see anything offensive in my penultimate post on this thread, but someone had to have a sly snipe at me, but it's OK, I have read his profile and I understand why he has done that. I am not getting into a war of words here and there is no use in having a go at mods, but it seems that there are some individuals on here who have open slather to pick and criticise while having skin like rice paper. I have only replied to this to clarify things and from now on I'll be keeping my fingers off the keyboard as I wouldn't want to offend anyone else.21again wrote:Roger it is the offensive and derogatory remarks that you put in SOME of your posts which are offensive.rogerdoger wrote:You clearly have some sort of problem with me and are on some sort of moral crusade, and it seems you have backing. What does my profile say? I had better have a close look at it.
I checked...it is relatively harmless. 55555
I think you have the position of thin-skinned confused in the extreme, and need to look in the mirror to see the object of your criticism in this regard because it does not take much to get you riled up and ready to quit.

Re: Just broken up with 'gf', Udon, here I come!
I know where rogerdoger is coming from.
I was a new kid in the oil patch, all of 23, making money hand over fist and going home regularly to my regular social-climbing girlfriend. Big plans, big car, big house, big engagement, big wedding.... etc.. The day before I was supposed to fly back to see her, I got the 'Dear John' letter. Yup... there was someone else but she didn't say as much, preferring some bs about me not giving her what she wanted. What to do, the flights are booked, it's summer holidays and can't change tickets or go anywhere else.
So, I went home and consummated the smoldering relationship with my 'fallback' who coincidentally just happened to be my soon-to-be-ex-girlfriend's younger sisters best mate. What? You didn't think I was going to commit the most perfect som nam naa and pork the baby sister didya? Anyway... the ex- had assumed that I had received the letter and went somewhere else. The look on her (and her baby sisters) face was an honest to God 'Kodak moment' when me and the newer, younger, prettier, fresher squeeze bumped into them out shopping that weekend. Especially since ex- hadn't mentioned to her sister that we were 'no longer an item'.
So come on up mate, but don't expect too much sympathy when you start to go on and on about what went wrong or, make derogatory remarks about Thai womenhood. Most of the farang punters on these forums and in Isaan in general have been there, done that. The ones that fell of the bike have mostly picked themselves up and got back on and are doing quite well. You may find a fellow bitter n twisted broken heart with feelings more akin to yours (at the moment) in Bangkok and Pattaya. Up here you will find people who can relate, lend advice and generally lighten the load. But if you speak like a c*nt, they will out c*nt you before you can say, "Mine's a half, ta."
Get over it as women, be it Thai or Pinay, can clock a lonesome loser before he orders his nam soda, mai sai minao.

Don't want to sound like I am nitpicking, but as I recall, that air base was called Clark AFB and yes it is closed and is now the Angeles Airport...Andrews AFB is in NJ, I think...DermotC wrote:Hey Roger,

Roger.
This statement is offencive. Just because someone is not good looking, it does not mean that they do not have a brain and have feelings.
