Flight Refunds

May 2012 I purchased a B.Airways flight to UK from a local Travel Agent Newstar Travel. Four days later I had to cancel 83 days later I am still waiting for a refund. Latest information from Travel Agent is I will get the money August 10th some 92 days after I cancelled.
Has anyone had experience of cancelling a flight, if so how long did to take to obtain your refund.
Needless to say next flight purchase will be made online.
