...Never, EVER, go to Makro on a Saturday morning that falls on the first day of the month!

We try to never go anywhere downtown on Sat/Sun......one of the joys of being retired. Certainly not to Central if we can at all help it.

Was there this morning about 07:00, not busy at all. By the time I got to check out about 20min later 2 of the 6 open registers were without customers. Also, evenings, after 19:00 is good a time to go.

A habit developed by some of us a long time ago. With the Red shirt March today. I will be staying out of town itself. Everything I need for this weekend is on Ring Road.

That's a handy Viz tip if there ever was one, I wonder if the same applies to the Big C. :-k

Thinking about it, every man and his dog gravitates to UD Town after 1800 hours so the Big C being empty is probably a safe bet.

They're all at church.

My problem is that I can't get out of bed until about 10 am.

I think the early AM choice best if you are shopping for fresh meats. The display stock starts to dwindle and get very picked over later in the day as they don't want too much to pack up for the night. The Thai culture seems to lean towards being nocturnal also.

I try to get to Makro for 6.30 in the mornings once a week. Everything's fresh at that time - very different from the situation around 11am
