Any one work in the Oil Drilling Industry

I have been living in the Khumpawapi district for a couple of years. We live on our sugar farm and it is a little isolated so I do not get to Udon much due to distance.
I work in the off shore oil drilling industry and i also supply expiate personnel.
I am interested to know if there are many expiates living in the udon district who work the same industry as i.
Is there any expiate forum members in the Udon district working in the same industry? If any one is experienced in the oil field and is interested in working i can help.

Retired now but spent a large percentage of my life working off shore, the last 3 years of which was spent out in the Benchamas field (Gulf of Thailand) with Chevron. You shouldn't have too many problems getting a response to this but I'd advise you too go further afield. I see a number of threads on other forums where younger guys are looking for work whilst TRYING to live in Thailand.

Worked offshore several times in the construction side. Now working onshore on plants and pipelines as a HSE Manager. See you are located in Vietnam and have heard there may be some projects starting there. If so, I am always interested in new possibilities.

Hello again folks

Been a while since i last visited due to changes in plans but yet again i find myself heading to Udon tomorrow, i would be interested in what you have available in the industry, been working in West Africa for schlumberger for the last 6 years, now considering a change.

Hey guys, I'm an expat Aussie who has worked in the oil industry several times in my varied and interesting life.
I am in Udon Thani and looking for work so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
I have to go to the border on the weekend for my next 3 month visa and it is the last one on my NonRes0.
I had planned to go back to Oz but that is dependant on the work situation here.
I am also an ex-fireman and have most of the safety tickets and more importantly "common sense"
I have lived in SE Asia for over 35 years.
