mail times USA to Udon

Just wondering if anyone from USA ( Im not) could advise how long it usually takes for a standard business ( A4) size envelope ( with 2-3 pages) posted ORDINARY MAIL in Usa .......takes to get to Udon Thani.

About 3 to 4 weeks has been my experience. Extra time for holidays. Example: I received a business letter yesterday that was mailed on the 15th of May.

Hmm, I get mail from TX sent by international USPS and it takes around 8 to 10 Days.

I consistently get mail from the East coast of the USA in roughly 15 days. Yesterday I received a regular US posted letter mailed on May 5th.

Last week I received a small document envelope of from Missouri on 16 May that was postmarked 5 May (11 days). Over the years about two weeks seems to be the norm for regular USPO service.

however I am still waiting on a letter sent from Austin Texas on 20th april, ordinary post.

In comparison , I posted a parcel ( weighing 1.5 kg) from Udon thani on 10th May and it was received in Brisbane Australia on 20th May.

Just have to keep on waiting ...............................

A few days ago received a letter that had been mailed about two weeks prior.

Not that it matters ....but problem solved . I convinced the Thai GF finally to call the post office and ask them to check what was happening.

About 1hr letter she received a call and was told that a bundle of about 10 letters was "found" at the post office.
This included the awaited letter from USA ...as well as assorted bills.

No explanation about how or why these letters had been .....misplaced

The one time I had a problem, took about 25 to 30 days to receive, it had 1st gone to Jakarta, for some reason. Guess it caught the wrong flight, or was put in the wrong bag? Not bad for ten years and nothing ever lost, wow sounds like a reliable service, USPS and Thailand mail.

On June 20th, 2015, I mailed 6 letters from the US to our home in Nong Wuaso...2 from Baltimore, 2 from Oklahoma City and 2 from Los Angeles...One of each of the 2 letters was addressed in Thai, with only the word Thailand in English...the other one addressed in English...As of today, we are three weeks away from a 1 year anniversary, I have received one letter out of 6...one of the English ones...
