Fundamentalist islam would probably say those innocent lives were collateral damage , just as you fundamentalist Christians claim innocents killed by American bombing are collateral damage.
You are just as warped in your views as each other.

During the George W. Bush administration, the CIA employed what it called “enhanced interrogation techniques” on detainees around the world. This included waterboarding (simulated drowning), sleep deprivation to the point of hallucination, beatings, sexual humiliation, and threats to hurt a detainee’s children or rape a detainee’s mother. Barack Obama banned torture when he assumed office, though his tenure was dogged by allegations that abuse continued, if not in American prisons then in allied countries’ facilities. A 2014 Senate report declared these methods “not an effective means of obtaining accurate information or gaining detainee cooperation.”

However, some may differ on the subject and believe that the use of torture is justified, bit of a chicken and egg argument with no right or wrong answer.

Back to my question. Do you really believe that George Bushs " so called " war on terror made the world a safer place ?
Re: Crime pays Torture in Thailand Get promoted.
hmmm.. it has been 16 ought years since the hijackers initiated the "War on Terror" with their crashing of aircraft. Without that impetus would George Bush have invaded Afghanistan? Probably not... Would the U.S. Congress later have given the Bush Administration the Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) that's been used over the last 16 years to justify all sorts of U.S. military offensive action all around the world?? Probably not.. So, since we can't spin the clock back nor change the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq nor the mess of the Syrian Civil War its is rather hard to determine where the world might have been if those crazies hadn't started it all on 9/11.... Lots of what ifs and maybe's....
