MASHROOM PIES

I buy my small mushroom pies from S and P which r delicious..... I have been trying to imitate the same taste, but cannot...

Has anyone been successful in making the same...If so, can anyone tell me what is the secret to the taste please?

Easy to make I should imagine.
Open a tin of button mushrooms, drain, slice and add to some white (packet) colemans sauce, then put the mixture into some makros readymade puff pastry, then in the oven till hot, puffed up, and golden brown. Ready.
Never done it before, however this would be where OT would start.

S&P Bakery are a large Thai chain.
You will find them in just about every Mall & Supermarket location in Udon.
As well as the location in the Plaza that Waz mentions they also have one in the basement, opposite the Japanese Bakery.

Their small pies are good value for money, although a bit too much puff pastry & too little filling for my taste.

Would think that the filling is:
fresh sliced button mushrooms, mashed garlic, cream, Worcester sauce & salt & pepper to personal taste..
