Hello from a new forum user
Hi everybody. Have just created my new account. Udonmap seems like a good source of information, and I dont know why I havent stumbled across it before.
I have been visiting Isaan for the last two years. I am proud to say I just got married to a beautiful lady called Pin on valentines day this year in Udon. I will be going back again in May where hopefully Pin will join me on the return leg of the journey where we can live together in the UK.
Like a lot of people I find Isaan to be the nicest and most 'real' part of Thailand I have visited.
I am looking forward to participating in the forums.

Welcome Shaney
Where in the UK are you from, if you don't mind me asking?
Not taking anything away from this fine forum do you know about ThaiVisa.com which will have answers to many questions you have re UK visas for thais.
I will shortly be going through the UK settlement visa process also and have sucessfully got my GF a Visitor visa before, I would gladly share my limited information/insight if you need help.
Congrats to you both =D>

Watch out for Thaivisa.com it is a forum for intoxicated British people, lots of misleading information. All the information you will need regarding UK visa for your wife you will find on your embassy's homepage and that information is correct....
Good luck to you Shaney

Thanks folks.
Ian - I am familiar with Thaivisa, thanks. It has been a very valuable source of information, and undoubtedly was the reason that our second visitors visa was succesful. Thanks for your kind offer of advice too I am currently compiling the evidence for our next app in May when I go back. I am located in Derby.
I will post in the visa forum or maybe PM if anything comes up.
Once again thanks for the kind welcome everyone.
