the police went round 29 Dec and fined about 3 bars and only gave bars on soi sampan and UD Town the notices and stickers N Park and across from B station never got any visits a complete unfair system and who can blame the bars in sampan for ignoring them after all settled down it was killing the bars that were sticking to the orders as is mentioned when songkran comes round and more cash for whisky required I am sure it will be roled out again

My friend there was more than 3 bars fined that day
7/11 ,Chinese lady who sell alcohol to the bars ,there was around 7 business owners mangers in police station paying
One thousand baht fine ...
My bar at the time was one of them
And my Manger at too leave the bar
That day to pay with rest of business
Owners ....
I agree totally unfair because Bussiness
Very hard at the present times ..
So the people who never own a business but seem
To know everything about runing a bar please think before
Adding your input to the hard working bar owners
Who try to provide a little bit of happiness to all
There customer which is very hard at this present time
Anyway goodluck to you all and try your best ....

Big B I agree totally that owning running a bar in Udon is very difficult and have done both b4 however your business was very well patronised by the Udon locals yet u seem to think that they are the problem I understand when u have bullish offensive customers and people leaving there bills unpaid but for the mass majority we all supported the bar and helped when poss. I for one enjouy meeting new tourists coming to the bar but unfortunatley the fist host u had was not welcoming to anyone and the 2nd only to locals I know u and your manager tried very hard and your lady manager was wonderfull with all wish u the best with whatever you do in the future

With the locals ....
Just some of them ,I can put your mind at rest most
Of the lads and ladies that came in we where really happy
For what the bar tried to provide and a big thank you
To you all from the bottom of my heart...
Yes I agree with you about the choice of staff !!!!
But working away in Uk could not keep my eyes on things there ...
And opening times changed to suit people!!!!
Which didn't help myself and other bars because things are tight up there in Udon.
Anyway big thank you and apologies for wording it the wrong way about the locals ...
I will pass the praise onto my lady Manger and thank you for the compliment...
Am are in the process of trying to tie up a deal with a bigger bar in Pattaya where my Manger will be in charge ..
You are welcome to come down for a couple of beers on the house to say a big thank you ...

Thanks Bib B hope all goes well with the new venture if you could advise when its set up I will get some of my pals who live down there to give it a try I hope to get down in May so will pop in if your up and running
