Motor bike stuffed by f/ inlaw...hohum..

I av been watching my F/i/law mistreat his H125 over 4 years....This n that broken... No petrol many times...etc.

Today he starts it n puts into gear n all it does is revs..no engagement....He is one that does nothing to look after anything...I av been waiting for something major to happen one day...Too lazy to service it what so ever..

I was looking at the motor area on my 6 y old Honda car last week..He asks...What r u doing?

I like to check everything myself out of habit...even though it is serviced monthly...

Can anyone tell me what has possibly gone wrong on the bike....n how much to repair?

Sorry I forgot...It was a geared / clutch bike....

I know this sounds silly ,but the obvious has been stated so , IS THE CHAIN STILL ON IT , ha ha

Why would you want to repair it?
Let your f/ in law sort it out.
“You fukt it, you fix it.”
His attitude, like so many others in my experience, Is that because he does’f have to pay for it, it’s not his problem.
Let him walk for a while.

May have something to do with keeping a roof over his head or having a moderately peaceable existence? For me, It's about not having to lock the bedroom door at night.

...and my brother-in-law does know how to operate a backhoe.

yes sounds like a clutch or gear selector problem..
I have just arrived Siamside to find my two Phantoms with flat batteries, no petrol, and half the tool kit missing..even though instructions were left... servicing a vehicle regular is a thing most Thais of the old school, or without a job, cant afford, so things go west..at first I used to get miffed at my lot, but now I have learnt to factor in such things..my missus has had her bike for 20yrs and its lucky to have seen a service..even tightening the chain goes untouched, only to cost later for new chain and new sprockets...TIT

Why don't you get a third Phantom and help out the shiftless lazy buggers a bit more?

Now that's a hedge against inflation that I hadn't considered before maaka. There are two, nice, polite, educated nieces at our place who must be worth at least a couple of mill a pop. Must have Mrs Tam have a word with their shiftless mum.

...ok, one of them's a lazy cow like her mum but we don't have to tell anyone, right?
