I have always been able to purchase beer at the local Mom and Pop shop near me, regardless of any bans or restrictions.

From 12 midnight tonight to Midnight Saturday the sale of alcohol is prohibited this for the Macha Bucha religious holiday.

Monday is the substitution day for the Buddha holiday falling on a Saturday however it is a normal day re the sales and movements of alcohol.

I agree that is because some people never learn but feel their 5 minute of fame is required over a subject that for over 20 years is constantly being talked about .
