Coping with the heat in Udon
when i came thru there in august it was mega hot . how do expats living in Udon cope with the heat ? It seems to be hotter there than when i was in NongKhai area. Is Udon hotter for some reason ?
Easy - Do what the locals do and stay out of the sun as much as possible, and drink lots of water. You soon learn to walk on the side of the street that has shade.
I used to love being in the sun but now I hide from it like everyone else:)
And by the way - there is no way you will say its mega- hot at the moment.
It is 'pleasant' just now. Warm in the day and cool at night. (Cool enough for a jacket even)

yep, the cold weather has passed, (what was it, one night, and people were talking of heaters ) I find it hotter now, with the sun, so low and right on my favorite smoking spot! Of course the dead cat doesn't help either, lets see, what is it now, I guess four days, Hmm, guess that would be a good / funny poll question
Talking about loading faster, I have just installed a program from onspeed.com and it has really added some zap to my gprs connection. It feels like I'm using ADSL. Anyway more about this later in the computer forum.Lee, first we got the stripes and now we got the split pictures. But it seems to load faster
