Need help about visa to the USA ( New meber )

Hello there,
Has anyone applied for a visa to come to the USA lately ??
My Mother and Father-in-law want to come here to visit us in the USA.
Can anyone tell me what the approximate waiting time would be before the US Embassy schedules for an interview after submitting the application for the visa?? We need to know the
approximate time table for this procedure so that my wife can fly to
Thailand to help her mom and dad with the paper work. Her time will be limited in Thailand because our young son, who is too young to travel via plane, would not want his mother to be away
from him for too long. If any one knows the time frame for this procedure, please reply to this request.

You will find full info including current waiting times at various embassies plus a means to download forms and apply on line to save time.
