A good day to test the various drainage around our property.......2" downpour with mega thunder/lightning at kilo 18 this afternoon. Now, times that by 6+ and you equal the flood of 2000/1. It's just a matter of time before that happens again

Ok, think Udon has had enough rain for this month. Nice to have cooler temps, now 26ºC @ 6 PM, but the Humidity is 88%, but much better than 40ºC

picked a 3 inch fish up off the soi a couple of hours ago. Not got a clue how it got there, just flapping about in a puddle. Put it in a bucket of water and it started swimming about. None of the houses within 100 or so metres have a pond so it couldnt have jumped out and flapped its way down the road

Regarding you new friend (fish) Thailand have fish that hibernate until the rainy season starts called Mudfish. This may be one of them Just a guess

I kept track of weather from 2001-2014.......May 2002 was wetter than the rest, but I'm guessing this May would beat that May. We've had a series of big rainfalls in the past 2 weeks.....several at 2", today's at 1.6"

went into Udon today, coming back Rain, a look at house camera's sun shine, sure enough as got closer, sun shine. While heading to back door, checked drainage drains, WTF!
Is that a fish?
Got me how it got there?
